With ten #1 singles, three chart-topping albums, a best-selling book, and a hit reality TV show in Iceland and scoring a Top 30 single in the U.K.in “Losing a Friend,” and a #1 hit on the Commercial Dance Chart with a cover of the Eurhythmics’ “Sweet Dreams”; Klara Elias, Alma Goodman and Camilla Stones have already established themselves as stars in their homeland. 

Having worked with producers such as The Smeezingtons’ Bruno Mars and Phillip Lawrence (Cee-Lo’s “F*** You,” B.o.B), The Movement (Jesse McCartney’s “Leaving,” Justin Bieber’s “One Time”), J.R. Rotem (Jason Derulo, Sean Kingston), Jukebox (Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair) and the up and coming Scandinavian production team StopWaitGo, The Charlies’ Mixtape is the perfect showcase for their sound. “We’ve been told that our sound is a blend of ABBA’s pop melodies, the Pussycat Dolls’ sensuality, Fergie’s sass and Wilson Phillips’ impeccable harmonies,” says Alma, who also is the songwriter of the group..

Alma, Klara and Camilla have toured the U.K. with Westlife, Girls Aloud and McFly, with one of their idols, Queen guitarist Brian May, playing a half-dozen dates at Wembley Arena. The group already received its first big break here in America when they were chosen by ABC to record “Fighter on the Dancefloor,” based on Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” to accompany the on-air promo for the fall season 2010 of the network’s top-rated Dancing with the Stars. 

Having sung together for many years the authenticity in the natural, unadorned blend of the threesome’s voices is obvious. “Someone once told us that our voices complement one another perfectly,” says Klara, the lead vocalist. “We work very hard on making that compliment a reality,” she adds. Not only do the girls sing together but they also live together in perfect harmony, sharing one bedroom apartment on Hollywood Blvd.

“We are together 24/7,” says Camilla. “People ask us how we stand being with each other all the time and if we ever fight, but the truth is we don’t. Instead we sometimes bicker like a married couple” she adds laughing. “We’re like sisters, co-workers and friends at the same time, all aiming towards the same goal – world domination,” says Camilla smiling.
