Chauncey Hollis, better known as Hit-Boy, is a rapper and platinum level producer hailing from Fontana, California. He is signed to Kanye West’s “G.O.O.D. Music” label and is the founder of Hits Since 87 record label. Hit-Boy began his music career by establishing the “Surf Club”, a multi-member producer group, and later connected with music producer Polow Da Don.
Since then, Hit-Boy has worked with top-tier artists producing smash hit records like, “Niggas in Paris” by Kanye West and Jay-Z, “Goldie” by A$AP Rocky, “I Wish You Would” by DJ Khaled, Rick Ross and Kanye West as well as many others. His production credits highlight his versatility as a producer; he has produced for rappers such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar, R&B artists such as Mary J. Blige and Brandy, and pop artists such as Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Brown. This summer he released his debut rap album entitled, “HITStory” which included the singles, “Jay-Z Interview”, “Old School Caddy” featuring Kid Cudi and “East vs. West”. “HITStory” includes self-produced tracks and features many of the biggest names in the music industry.
