Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" has been named MTV's Best Song of 2012!
The global hit reached number one in both the UK and US and has sold over 6 million copies in America alone since its release earlier this year.

"First of all, wow, thank you so much! I have to thank th two other writers of "Call Me Maybe," Josh Ramsay and Tavish Crowe," Rae told MTV.
"When we worked on the song together, we were not expecting this year to turn out to be the crazy adventure that it is. Thank you to the fans, my team, my family and MTV - thanks to you!"
Fun. came in second place with their anthem "We Are Young," and Gotye is third with "Somebody That I Used To Know."
