Let The Adventures Begin!!!

The Observatory was an amazing experience, however,
for those of you that might have never made this trip let me warn you, there
are absolutely NO palm trees and Justin Timberlake was not hanging on the
Hollywood letters waiting to be rescued like in Friends With Benefits.

I must take this time to let you know that my expectations
were VERY high leading up to seeing the Hollywood Sign. This sign basically
represents everything that I thought Los Angeles was as a child. Seeing this
sign for the first time helped remind me why I have always wanted to be here in
LA and also helped me understand why when people see it, they think anything is
possible.

The view from the Griffith Observatory was amazing! The
walking trails were possibly one of my favorite things about the trip. They
brought a sense of normalcy for a girl from the country. I also still can’t get
over the fact that walking trails is even an option in February, I mean in
Missouri it was in the 40s!

While my friends and I were at the Observatory we were able
to see one of the shows they have at the planetarium. This is something that I
recommend everyone do at least once. As a California foreigner, the Hollywood
sign and Griffith Observatory did not disappoint!

Don't forget to send me your suggestions!!!! Just tweet them to @courtneybland
