These are so cool for my nieces, check them out!
BATH! I was talking to a friend the other day and I was reminded that as a kid, the thought of taking a bath sounded dreadful. Clearly playing or watching tv was much more enjoyable than jumping in the tub. This was especially true if your mom was giving you that “it’s not going to be fun, but you really have to do it” tone.
We all remember the infomercials for crayon shaped pieces that allowed you to tag up the shower walls and little pill shaped parcels that magically disolved transforming into animal sponges. It was bath friendly toys like those that helped mom out to encourage you as a kid and tricked you into thinking that playing continued no matter where you were.
History repeats itself and bath time is still not an option kids like to choose. I’ve come across some fun bath accessories kids will pick up on right away.
1) Action Figure Mini Men Glycerin Soaps – What do these look like? Legos! These mini soaps may not snap together, but they are scented with fun flavors and are tiny enough that you can give your little one a handful to set up an army. Banana, Watermelon and Lime are just a few of the scents you’ll get in a pack of 16. I even found soap that comes in lego blocks.
2) Tubbies – These are what AM PM Kids call their eye catching hooded towels. I wish I had one of these growing up! They offer all types of animals, sports and garden theme colorful choices that fit infants to 6 years of age. The towel and hood are made from 100% absorbent cotton terry and each hood design is made of extra soft plush polyester. Tubbies aren’t just great for at home use, pack one to the pool or beach.
3) Wooden sail boats, wash cloths presented like cupcakes and little sprout bubble bath, doesn’t that sound like an eventful evening in the bathtub? Whatever you choose to give your litte tyke to keep them entertained and get the job done, make sure it’s all tied up in a mesh toy bag so when it’s your turn to jump in the shower you don’t stub a toe.
