It’s been a very exciting weekend in El Lay with the Hola Mexico Film Festival currently taking place at the Montalban Theater! If you haven’t had a chance to check out a film yet, I definitely recommend you go before the festival ends on Wednesday May 30th. The films featured at this year’s festival demonstrate the impact Latinos make in the film industry. I swear, the place is full of talent! ¡Me siento súper orgulloso!
Below I posted some MUST WATCH films! These are films that really grabbed my attention. If you missed any of the screenings below, you can view which films will be screened today and tomorrow by clicking AQUI :)
El cielo en tu mirada (Heaven in Your Eyes). The title says it all! Bring tissue! lol
La Otra Familia (The Other Family). If you missed the screening, figure out another way to watch it! lol Its a must watch!
¿Alguien ha visto a Lupita? (Have You Seen Lupita?) Starring Dulce Maria!? Heck Yes! I'm in!!
La Leyenda de la Llorona (The Legend of 'La Llorona') We all grew up afraid of La Llorona right? lol An animated spin to the tale is genius!
I'm really looking forward to tonight's screening El Cielo Abierto, the documentary about Oscar Romero, the Salvadorian archbishop who was assassinated.
Now, who wants to catch a movie with me tonight? I'm a cheap date ;) lol Tweet Me Below:
