Lance admitted it all during his Oprah interview -- saying he took banned substances to enhance his cycling performances before all 7 of his Tour de France wins ... he blood doped ... he took testosterone ... EPO ... human growth hormone ... everything you can imagine.

Lance had denied the allegations for years -- and when Oprah asked why he came forward now, Lance replied, "I don't know that I have a great answer. I will start now by saying this is too late ... I view this situation as one big lie that I repeated a lot of times ... I am a flawed character."

He added, "I didn't invent the [doping] culture, but I did nothing to stop the culture ... and I am sorry for that." 

Lance said he began using EPO (erythropoietin) -- a hormone that enhances red blood cell production -- in the mid 90s. 

When asked if he was ever afraid he'd be caught -- Lance replied, "No."
When asked if it felt wrong at the time -- Lance replied, "No."
When asked if he felt like he was cheating -- he replied, "No ... I viewed it as a level playing field."

As for how the whole operation worked, Armstrong hedged on the details -- saying, "I viewed it as very simple. You had things that were oxygen-boosting drugs, for lack of a better word, that were incredibly beneficial for endurance sports. And that's all you needed."

He added, "My cocktail was only EPO ... not a lot ... transfusions and testosterone."

Bottom line, Lance -- who referred to his former self as "an arrogant pr*ck" -- isn't shocked by the outrage over his lies and deceit ... saying, "I deserve it."

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have split after a year of being engaged, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

The 31-year-old singer will no longer have Jason as a conservator and lawyers are currently in court having him removed.

“Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement,” her rep Jeff Raymond told People. “As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.”

“Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement,” Britney said. “I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.”

Jason added, “As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.”

The split comes right after Britney changed agencies, indicating that Jason was no longer managing her career, and after her departure from The X Factor.

OneRepublic‘s new single “If I Lose Myself” is this week’s pick for JustJared.com and KIIS FM 102.7‘s JJ Music Monday!

The song is the lead single off of the group’s new album Native, which is due in stores later this year.

lor Swift and Harry Styleshave reportedly ended their short romance, according to multiple reports.

The 23-year-old country singer and the 18-year-old One Direction heartthrob were spending a post-New Year’s holiday vacation together in the British Virgin Islands when they reportedly had a big fight, which ended in Taylor leaving the topical locale a day before Harry, according to Page Six.

Taylor and Harry debuted their romance at a taping of The X Factor in November and were spotted together in Central Park in early December. They have since flown all over the world together and even shared a kiss in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Former LA Lakers coach Phil Jackson has finally popped the  question to his longtime girlfriend Jeanie Buss --  after 12 years of dating -- but the real question ... could this affect the Zen  Master's possible coaching gig with the Brooklyn  Nets?

Our Lakers source tells us the engagement went down on  Christmas day, but Jeanie -- daughter of Lakers owner Jerry  Buss -- didn't reveal the ring until moments ago.

She posted a  pic of the huge rock on Twitter with the caption ...  "Phil finally gave me  that ring I wanted!"

Miss USA Olivia Culpo looks ecstatic while receiving her crown after winning the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant on Wednesday (December 18) at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nev.

The 20-year-old Boston University sophomore beat out 88 other beauty queens from around the world to become the first American lady to win the title since 1997. Olivia definitely brought home the crown at a time the country needed some uplifting news!

During her interview question, Olivia was asked if she ever regretted something in her life.

“I’d like to start off by saying that every experience no matter what it is, good or bad, you’ll learn from it. That’s just life,” Olivia said. “But something I’ve done I’ve regretted is probably picking on my siblings growing up, because you appreciate them so much more as you grow older.”

The Voice‘s third season came to a close with its finale on Tuesday (December 18) and the winner has been announced!

Coach Blake Shelton entered the finale with two contestants, Cee Lo Greenwith one, and Christina Aguilera andAdam Levine both had zero. In the final performance round, each contestant sang a highlight from the past season, a new cover song, and a duet with his or her coach.
