You know I’m going to be honest, reading all of the stories about Paul Walker’s crash make me very sad, I don’t like to read about them at all. However this was one story that I just couldn’t help but share! I’m sure Paul had his bad days just like the rest of us and I’m sure he wasn’t perfect, but it seems like he really did have a huge heart.
After Paul’s passing a woman by the name of Irene King posted this story on Facebook. She said back in 2004 she was working at a Jewerly store in Santa Barbara, she was helping a young couple look at some rings and during that time Paul Walker walked into the store. Irene recognized him but she says it didn’t seem like the couple didn’t at first.
The couple Kyle and Kristen Upham ended up chatting with Paul and they talked about what each of them did. That’s when Paul learned that Kyle was in the military and was about to be deployed to
Kyle and Kristen were called back to the store and handed the huge surprise. I’m not sure why but the employees decided the best thing to do was to keep it a secret that Paul bought them the ring. However Kyle says he kind of suspected it. It wasn’t until after Paul passed away that Irene posted this story and Kyle and Kristen confirmed their guess.
Kyle said “When we hand down the ring through the generations, there will always be a story to tell,”
Kristen added, “His real life speaks volumes of his character. He really did put his money where his mouth is and did good for this world.”
You know Benedict Cumberbatch from "Star Trek" and he was awesome in my book before and NOW THIS!! I love love love it!!
