Welcome to my new blog and the launch of Rockstar Health & Fitness!! This has been a fun project that my good friend Sera Roadnight and I started less than a year ago. We were cooking dinner at my house one night and came up with the idea of sharing the health and fitness secrets of celebrities with the public. I always say....it's easier to be happy when you're healthy and when you're happy you are a nicer person. So, we wanted to give you some ideas for a healthier lifestyle directly from your favorite celebrities. Depending on the artist, each of the episodes are unique with their own energy. Plus, they're educational. We kick off with Patrick Stump (lead singer from Fall Out Boy). What makes this extra fun for me is I am also working his new record at Island Def Jam Music Group (my day job that I love). Patrick recently lost 60 lbs and, as you'll see on the show, he talks with us about his transformation. Basically, his episode is all about portion control, moderation and exercise.....nothing more than good old fashion diet and exercise!! He also shows us a great ab workout and talks about his favorite cardio exercise....running. Moderation is the key to most things in life, especially when it comes to diet. We live in a society of SUPERSIZE me and that is just flat out a recipe for disaster. We end each episode with my "favorite find" of the day. This time it is all about Stevia, a great substitute for sugar. We have many more great artists coming your way....enjoy!
