Kanye West has apparently given the baby girlfriend Kim is expecting the name 'North'

The international rap star and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are currently expecting their first child together.

Kanye allegedly came up with a list of potential names for the new arrival while at Paris Fashion Week last month and North is said to be his favorite so far.

Up until now there has been speculation the baby - thought to be a girl - will have a name starting with a K in keeping with Kardashian family tradition.

 According to the Sun, the rapper has included North on a potential name list for the baby, due in July.

It is said to be his favorite because he thinks it sounds good with his surname.
