On Thurday, I had one of the coolest experiences of my life. As a fan of the TV show 'Whale Wars' on Animal Planet, and a believer and supporter of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, I had the chance, not only to see, but to BOARD one of their vessels, The Brigette Bardot, and given a tour, and chat with crew who are about to head straight to Antarctica to battle the Japanese Whalers.
If you know the show, or believe in saving whales, aswell as other living nature, please go visit this amazing crew and organization, and see this vessel in person. It's not only incredible to look at, since it looks like something straight out of Star Trek, but what it represents and stands for, makes a trip to Marina Del Rey well worth while.
It doesn't cost anything at all to go on board and take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity, since the vessel is usually docked in Australia.
