Chuey Martinez is the next big thing to hit Hollywood. Not only big in stature, Chuey is making major moves in the Latin American community here in LA.

With a Mexican and Dominican background, Chuey's cultural upbringing has influenced his style and flavor, which makes him a hot commodity across the nation, as a relatable young talent in the Latino community.

Chuey began his career in radio the minute it was legal. Growing up in the San Gabriel Valley, Chuey launched his career at a local radio station at the age of 16. After finishing high school, Chuey traveled to Arizona to play college football and study business, while obtaining a position at the local radio station in Arizona.

Chuey's larger than life personality, work ethic, and sense of humor quickly got him noticed and he gained an on-air position at a regional Mexican station in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 21.

Chuey left Arizona to pursue TV, film and radio here in Los Angeles and immediately began to work for a top-rated radio station. After four years in radio, as well as, acting in nationally televised commercials and various network shows, Chuey joined L.A.'s #1 Hit Music Station, 102.7 KIIS FM.

Chuey has quickly become a favorite to the young LA audience. As his popularity increased on the radio Chuey was invited to be the LA correspondent for the MTV affiliate MTV Tr3s, the first bilingual MTV station, and can be seen everyday doing the “LA 411” and various endorsements for MTV’s local and national clients.

Along with his television and radio gigs, Chuey is using his influence to begin his own production company for the development of film, TV, and music projects.

Whether it is executive producing or hosting a mix tape, Chuey has his eye on all facets of the ever-changing entertainment industry. Millions of listeners and viewers tune in each day to their radios and TVs to be entertained by Chuey. With his easygoing demeanor and charismatic charm, Chuey Martinez is soon to be a household name.

Shakira is Expecting Her First Baby!

Good and bad news today for Shakira fans -- bad: she is dropping out of this weekend's iHeartRadio Music Festival; good: it's because she's pregnant!

Shakira confirmed that she is expecting her first baby with her boyfriend, Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué, saying:

"As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days."

Earlier, it was reported that Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez were both becoming X Factor’s new hosts, well there's now one HUGE thing standing in the way!

It seems E!, the Kardashian family’s network home, must give permission FIRST before Khloe gets signed on!
