"Bloom Again Foundation - Helping Women in Need"
The mission of Bloom Again Foundation is to provide rapid response financial assistance to economically vulnerable working women when they need it most due to personal or family medical emergencies.

Bloom Again Foundation’s 4th annual LUNAFEST Fundraiser starts with this year’s short films by, about, and for women followed by the announcement of the winner of this year’s Mother’s Day Contest. A wine and cheese reception with local authors signing their books is the ending to a perfect afternoon.

"The Thirst Project"
The Thirst Project has become part of the cultural fabric of Los Angeles by creating public indoor and outdoor exhibitions around the city. To the Sea will be CicLAvia’s longest route to date, spanning more than 15 miles and connecting the city’s historic center at El Pueblo de Los Angeles and the bustling boardwalk of Venice Beach. Several hubs along this expansive route will offer information and services for participants. To the Sea offers a rich tour of the city’s history, vibrant neighborhoods, and majestic views of the Pacific Ocean.

NKLA ADOPTION WEEKEND
NKLA Adoption Weekend is a cooperative effort in which multiple animal groups get together in a fun atmosphere to adopt out tons of animals!
No-Kill Los Angeles is hosting a free three-day pet adoption event that is bringing together 50 rescue groups, shelters and 1000+ adoptable pets. The LA shelter pets are under $100. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and updated vaccinations.
Adopters will receive an adoption starter kit which includes treats, toys and $250 worth of coupons to PetSmart.
The event will be on:

"Gentle Barn - Animal Sanctuary"
To Rescue, rehabilitate and give sanctuary to abused animals. Through the interaction with our animals people learn reverence for all life.
The over 160 animals that reside at The Gentle Barn have all been rescued from severe abuse, neglect, abandonment or worse. They have been rehabilitated with traditional and non-traditional medicine, top quality nutrition, and countless hours in the arms of our staff and volunteers.
