ON THIS WEEKS SHOW!!!

LAUSD's I'm In Campaign

“I’M IN” is an exciting all-inclusive program by the Los Angeles Unified School District to raise awareness about the District’s healthy meals to help fight childhood obesity, as well as to encourage student attendance and dropout prevention. “I’M IN” is how students prepare outside the classroom to be at their best inside the classroom. It’s the promise students make to themselves to eat right, exercise, and get their proper rest so they can achieve great things in school.

UNDROPPABLE

Undroppable isn’t just a documentary — it’s also a social media campaign focused on raising awareness about the high dropout rate in American high schools. The goal is to highlight the students and communities that are grappling with high school drop out rates but are still pushing on and persevering, despite the obstacles. The students share life stories that reveal why they were close to dropping out of high school.  They talk about parents who abused drugs, teen pregnancy and losing homes to the tornado.
