Seven Nights A Week Of Free Entertainment Through Aug. 31!
It's no secret that there are a million things to do in Hollywood. This summer the trick is to figure the coolest things to do for free, and Universal CityWalk has the answer.
Through Aug. 31, CityWalk will be hosting a Summer Block Party featuring seven nights a week of free entertainment. That's 66 straight nights with celebrity and tribute band concerts, talent competitions, Latin music, DJ dance parties, and outdoor movies.
Thursdays - "Big Free Outdoor Movie Nights" continue Aug. 21 with
"Curious George".
Fridays - "Flashback Fridays" continue Aug. 22 with "Hollywood U2: A Tribute to U2".
Saturdays - "Celebrity Band Saturdays" rock on with Lucy Walsh("Rock The Cradle" ) on Aug. 23.
Sundays - "Descarga en CityWalk con Telemundo y mun2" features Latin music performances from Silverio and Curanderos on Aug. 24.
Mondays - "CityRock LIVE!" showcases up-and-coming bands. Aug. 25: Norman Kelsey and Val Grant.
Tuesdays - "Summer Night Salsa" presented by the Rumba Room, featuring dance lessons and live music from Marco Antonio y La Esencia.
Wednesdays - "Wannabe Wicked" where contestants could win a chance to appear in the L.A. production of "Wicked."
