Michael J. Fox is returning to the small screen.
Thirteen years after leaving Spin City, the actor is heading back to television with the premiere of The Michael J. Fox Show, a comedy based on his real life.
Despite battling Parkinson’s Disease, Michael tells the TODAY show he’s found the transition back to primetime exciting, but does admit it’s been a bit challenging.
The grueling 14-hour days, he says, are “more than I thought it would be, but I handled it better than what I thought I would,” says Michael. “It’s what I do and what I’ve done for years and what I enjoy doing.”
Catch The Michael J. Fox show on NBC tonight at 9/8c.
